Is HSK 3.0 paper-based or on a computer?

Both formats are offered at test centres, depending on the centre: paper-based and internet-based (iBT). The content and timing are the same.

Internet-based testing is taken at a test centre on a computer, not at home. Paper-based testing uses the traditional answer sheet, including for the writing section.

Availability varies by country and centre. When you register, the date list shows which format each centre offers.
